The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Red Cross Society will hold a series of training sessions in the upcoming weeks, to ensure that the relevant personnel can operate the Water Purification Unit which the Society recently received from the French Red Cross.
Communications Officer, Rendall Allen says the Red Cross is now shifting its priorities, as the country emerges from the Emergency Phase following the floods of December last year.
Mr. Allen said the upcoming training sessions will be carried out with support from the International Federation of the Red Cross.
