The General Employees Cooperative Credit Union Ltd (GECCU) will host its Inaugural Lecture tonight.
A release from GECCU says the lecture will be given in honour of the sterling contribution of founding member, Beryl Baptiste M.B.E.
It is first in a series of lectures focusing on GECCU’s contribution to its members in all spheres of life in St. Vincent and the Grenadines over the past fifty (50) years.
The series will also highlight the role which Credit Unions have played in the socio-economic, political and spiritual development of our nation
Tonight’s lecture will be delivered by veteran regional Credit Union official, Melvin Edwards, who will speak on the topic: Credit Unions: A Pillar of Economic Growth and Development.
The lecture will be delivered at Frenches House from eight tonight.
