Prime Minister, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has reiterated that construction of the Argyle International Airport is on schedule to be completed by the end of 2014.
He made this statement during his 2014 Budget Address in Parliament yesterday.
The Prime Minister said the airport will play a very important role for the nation’s economic development in the future.
The Prime Minister said airport is being constructed at a cost of seven hundred million dollars and it will directly connect St. Vincent and the Grenadines to the rest of the world.
He also gave an update on the progress of the work that is being carried out at the Argyle International Airport site.
