Chairman of the Buildings Roads and General Services Authority (BRAGSA), Beresford Phillips has commended the Government for its quick response to the need for rebuilding across the nation.
He made this statement during yesterday’s arrival of about five million dollars in Building material which arrived in the state via boat from Jamaica-based hardware firm Tank Weld.
The Building Supplies which are to be used in the reconstruction efforts following the damage caused by a Trough system on Christmas Even night have been offered to the Government on concessionary terms.
Mr. Phillips said BRAGSA will carry out the reconstruction work and they will be working closely with NEMO to expedite the process.
Meanwhile General Manager of the Buildings Roads and General Services Authority (BRAGSA), Elvis Charles said he is excited to see the arrival of the Building supplies which he is confident will go a long way in assisting many Vincentians.
