Vincentian Producer Alex “Kubiyashi’ Barnwell said thus far plans are progressing well for the concert with many individuals and business houses getting on-board.
He said from the concert they will seek to raise the four hundred thousand dollars which is needed to renovate the Maternity Ward at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital which was damaged as a result of the flooding.
Mr. Barnwell said persons can support the charity event by purchasing a ticket which costs twenty dollars and they will see a grand showcase of performances from local and regional entertainers at the Victoria Park on February 1st.
Mr. Barnwell said the entire process will be managed by the Accounting Firm KPMG to ensure transparency.
He said everyone is coming onboard and working together to ensure the success of the event and he also highlighted that ALL of the money raised will go towards the relief efforts.
