Acting Program Manager at the National Broadcasting Corporation, Colvin Harry is appealing to members of the public to honour the pledges which they would have made to assist in the country’s relief efforts.
Mr. Harry said these pledges were made during a radiothon which was hosted by the Radio station and other media Houses on Sunday January 5th, following the damage caused by flooding and landslides on Christmas Eve.
Mr. Harry is appealing to take their pledges to the Bank of St. Vincent and the Grenadines to the Account called SVG Relief 2014 Account number 137736.
Just over 82-thousand dollars has been collected so far, of the 127-thousand 507-dollars which was pledged during the Relief Radiothon. All donations will be used to assist persons affected by the trough system on Christmas Eve.
