A team from the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) is currently in the state to conduct a detailed assessment of the impact of the Christmas Eve floods on the Vincentian economy.
The team is headed by Dr. Vincent Little, FAO Regional Policy Advisor/Consultant, Food and Nutrition Security in the Caribbean Region.
Dr. Little, who is also an agricultural economist, said significant focus will be placed on establishing the impact on the agricultural sector.
