Just over 82-thousand dollars has been collected so far, of the 127-thousand 507-dollars pledged during the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Relief 2014 Radiothon held here earlier this month.
The funds are being deposited in Account nbr: 137736 set up at the Bank of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
All donations will be used to assist persons affected by the trough system on Christmas Eve.
Several Radio Stations were involved in this month’s Radiothon, which originated from NBC Radio, the National Broadcasting Corporation.
