The Community of Stubbs won two awards at the National Nine mornings awards ceremony held last Saturday at the Peace Memorial Hall.
For the third consecutive year Stubbs won the Best Community Nine Morning title and for the first time the Best Christmas nine morning title.
Stubbs also received the award for placing 2nd in their zone for the Vinlec National Light up competition.
Other awards went to Pointe Village for the Best Community on Parade and the Best One Hundred Year Theme.
Richmond Hill Gardens won the Best Lit Garden and Jimmy Samuel of Rillian Hill had the Best Lit Private House.
In his address at Saturday’s ceremony Deputy Chairman of the Nine Mornings Committee Lennox Bowman said Nine Mornings is very much alive in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
