Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has warned against what he says are persons taking advantage of the disaster relief effort.
Speaking at a Media Conference on Monday, the Prime Minister said this practice has been seeping into the relief effort.
He said some Public Servants spend too much time in denying some people, who need assistance.

The Prime Minister told Media personnel on Monday that as a result of the flooding, some 495 houses were damaged, 14 bridges destroyed and 14 damaged, in addition to damage to the road network and other public infrastructure.
