A ceremony will be held here today, to formally hand over the Terminal Building for the Argyle International Airport.
The Building, which was constructed by the Republic of China on Taiwan is complete and will be handed over to the
International Airport Development Company IADC, this morning.
The IADC says during the ceremony, there will be an exchange of the Certificate of Substantial Completion of the Terminal Building between Taiwanese Ambassador Weber Shih and Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves.
The ceremony takes place at the Airport site at Argyle and from ten this morning. It will be broadcast live on NBC Radio.
Retrofitting of the Terminal Building is expected to begin in January 2014.
