A ceremony to formally hand over the Terminal Building for the Argyle International Airport will be held later this month.
The Building, which was constructed by the Republic of China on Taiwan is complete and will be handed over to the International Airport Development Company IADC, on December 30th.
The IADC says in a release that this will take the form of an exchange of the Certificate of Substantial Completion of the Terminal Building between Taiwanese Ambassador Weber Shih and Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves.
The ceremony takes place at the Airport site in Argyle and begins at 10am on Monday December 30th.
Retrofitting of the Terminal Building is expected to commence in January 2014.
