Vincentians turned out in their numbers in Kingstown this morning for the official start of Nine Mornings activities in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The cultural festival was officially launched at Heritage Square on December 2nd under the theme “Celebrating One Hundred Years of a Unique Vincentian Tradition”.
Since then several communities have launched their decentralized activities for this year’s 100 years of Nine Mornnings.
Nine Mornings activities will be held at Heritage Square in Kingstown each morning until December 24th, 2013.
This morning’s activities included a fitness session, fun questions and answers segments, music on pan and caroling and the winning of gifts via different innovative and entertaining activities.
Meanwhile, Three communities will launch their Nine Mornings and lighting Up activities tomorrow evening.
Point Village will begin their activities under the theme: “The Past and the Present makes us who we are”, at the Village Square beginning at 7pm, Owia Village will launch under the theme: “100 Years of Nine Mornings OSCO Style” beginning at 7pm and Christmas lights will be turned on in Mesopotamia at 8pm tomorrow, under the theme: “Kids Light Always Shine Bright”.
