The Ministry of National Mobilization is preparing to hold a series of consultations as it prepares to continue its work on the implementation of the OECS Juvenile Justice Reform Project here
These consultations will come as a follow up to the recently held National Juvenile Conference which had participation from over one hundred and seventy local and regional delegates.
Local Co-ordinator of the Project, Merissa Finch-Burke said over the next couple of months they intend to hold consultations across the country to ensure that the program is successfully implemented locally.
She said they will also roll out a major training program for parents, teenagers and the practitioners who would be responsible to ensure the day to day continuation of the program.
The project is being undertaken by the United States Agency for International Development USAID and the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States, OECS.
It targets young people in the Eastern Caribbean, who have had to go through the Justice System.
