Since I began this journey, it has truly been a rollercoaster of emotions. There were times I had to remind myself, “Isherta, stay the course. Keep going.” Years ago, I made a promise to myself — that no matter what, I would live, strive, and persevere.

There have been moments of doubt, moments when giving up felt easier. But then I remember my mother — a woman of immense strength and resilience. I watched her work tirelessly, even through her final days. She did everything she could to provide, to nurture, and to love. Her spirit continues to guide me, and I dedicate this moment to her. May her soul rest peacefully. 🕊️

When I was nominated for the “Most Outstanding Youth in TVET”, I was deeply honored. To be recognized for your hard work is a blessing beyond measure. But standing there at the ceremony, hearing my name announced as the winner, my heart overflowed with gratitude.

And just when I thought the night couldn’t be more special, the unexpected happened — the announcement of “The Prime Minister’s Champion for Excellence 2025”, and my name was called. In that instant, it felt as though my entire life flashed before my eyes. I was speechless, humbled, and profoundly thankful.

To the Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, I extend my deepest gratitude for this incredible honor. Thank you for believing in me and for recognizing the passion and dedication I strive to bring to my work every day.

My mission has always been to make an impact — to show others that with God, discipline, determination, and practiced knowledge, anything is possible. Failure is not the end; it is a teacher. Each setback is simply a redirection toward greater strength and wisdom.

To everyone who voted for me, supported me, and believed in my potential — thank you. I see you, I appreciate you, and I carry your encouragement with me always.
