Telecommunications Company Digicel has announced plans to open a Call Centre here in St. Vincent and the Grenadines by the second quarter of this year.
Minister with responsibility for ICT Camillo Gonsalves says he has received correspondence from the Chief Operations Officer of the Digicel Group Andy Thorburn stating that Digicel is committed to establishing a Call Centre here for the purpose of providing a Cable TV and Broadband Help Desk Facility.
He said some fifty persons are expected to be employed at the Call Centre when it becomes operational.
